NOTICE OF FILING TENTATIVE ASSESSMENT ROLL
(Pursuant to Section 506 of the Real Property Tax Law)
Notice is hereby given that the Assessor has completed the TENTATIVE Assessment Roll for the Town of Alabama in the County of Genesee for the year 2023. The roll is on file and may be seen online @alabamany.com. The Board of Assessment Review will meet to hear complaints at 2218 Judge Road Alabama Town Hall on Tuesday, May 23, 2023 from 12 noon to 2pm and 6 pm to 8 pm. Please call 585-734-8372 or barreas@rochester.rr.com for details. Formal complaints will need to be filed with all documentation by 12 noon May 23, 2023. Forms may be left at the Town anytime prior to May 23, 2023.
The Assessor will be in attendance with the Tentative Roll at 3219 Drake St –Oakfield,NY – Community & Government Center on Tuesdays thru Thursdays from 11am to 3pm; Tuesday, May 9th, 2023 from 6pm to 8pm and Saturday, May 13, 2023 from 8am to 12 noon – all by appointment only by calling 585-734-8372 by May 11, 2023 or barreas@rochester.rr.com. All assessment data available at www.geneseecounty.prosgar.com.
In accordance with Section 526 of the Real Property Tax Law, a publication containing the procedures for contesting an assessment is available at the Assessor’s Office.
